Program and itinerary

ARRIVAL:

* Meeting point in Mondovi

* Flight to Turin, Milan, Nice or Genoa

* Train/overnight train to Turin, Milan, Nice or Genoa

* From there by bus or train via Turin or Savona to Mondovi

* Alternatively, you can also travel by car/rental car or Flixbus

DAY 1

Arrive independently. Pick up by the Piemount team from the nearest train station. We start the week with a welcome aperitif and get to know each other. Dinner together with typical Piedmontese cuisine. 

TAG 2

Breakfast together. We start our day with a relaxing yoga session with the theme “Arriving”: Afterwards, training and an introduction to the world of climbing. Then we go on our first trip togetherto the rock including a snack on site (all day). Finally, we discuss our first experiences togetheren dinner.

DAY 3

Breakfast together. Then it goes high. (Je depending on the weather) we climb one of the many mountain ranges. For example: 'Pian del Re', one of the most panoramic plateaus, with a view of the Monviso (highest mountain in the Maritime Alps and Piemonte) and the source of the Pos (river). Depending on the fitness level of the group, guided hike. Lunch in one of the mountain huts. Afterwards you have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in the cold mountain lake. We end the day with a typical Italian dish: pizza.

DAY 4

Brunch together. We start the day with a yoga session. After a relaxing morning, we're back on the rock today. We discover another rock in the valley. We climb and relax in the hammock in between. In the evening we discover local specialties of the valley. Finally andd before going to bed we pack our bags for our second destination of the week. 

DAY 5

We start the day early with a breakfast together. Today we head towards the sea. On the way there we stop at a local market in Piedmonts in Mondovi. Lunch in one of the many small restaurants in the old town. We then visit a chestnut farm. Guided walk through the forest and production. Afterwards, a variety of products made with local chestnuts are tasted and toasted with chestnut beer. Finally, Drive to our 2nd accommodation. 

DAY 6

Breakfast together. Good morning in Liguria. We start our day relaxed. A shared yoga session by the sea. Sunbathe and read a book on the beach. A walk through one of the many small Ligurian old towns. A focaccia in a traditional bakery. Most of the day is at leisure. In the late afternoon we go on a short cave hike.For advanced climbers, opportunity to climb. Hidden places and a panoramic view from above of the Ligurian coast. Dinner in a traditional restaurant with a sea view. 

DAY 7

Breakfast together. We start the day with a spectacular climbing session directly above the sea. A hidden beach is then discovered. For all water lovers there is a sea grotto to explore and the snorkel can also be unpacked. Afterwards we go to the old town of Final Borgo and have an aperitif in one of the many beautiful restaurants. We end the day with dinner together and reflect on the week. 

DAY 8

One last time. Breakfast together. Then transfer to the nearest train station.

Every week is unique...

We always try to adapt our program to the individual group members as best as possible. For this purpose, we have a form filled out in advance with personal information, previous sporting knowledge, diets, etc.  Unfortunately we cannot influence the weather either. For this reason and depending on the group configuration, our program can vary from week to week. A variety of rocks, mountains and hiking trails... Opportunity to visit a chestnut farm, one of the largest caves in the area, a cooking class, a beer brewery, a sculpture gallery... Countless restaurants, cafés and bars... and and and... are waiting for you!

...and because we can't possibly see everything in one week, it's worth coming back!
